Help! I’m not receiving my HugTexts! / My friend isn’t receiving his HugTexts!

1. Check your account to be sure that the number and carrier is correct.

I want to upgrade my HugTexts subscription. How can I do this?

Great idea! Just go to My Account, and click My Plan. Here you can make any changes to your HugTexts subscription plan you need.

I want to add, change, or remove phone numbers from my HugTexts plan. How do I do this?

Go to My Account, and click My Plan. Here you can edit the phone numbers, or change your plan to include more or fewer phone numbers.

My phone number changed. How do I change my number so I can continue to receive HugTexts?

Go to My Account, and click My Plan. Here you can make changes to the phone number(s) in your HugTexts subscription plan.

Can I transfer my HugTexts to another person?

Sure! Just go to My Account, and click My Plan. Here you can make changes to the phone number(s) in your HugTexts subscription plan. The account belongs to the person paying for the plan, and is identified by your User Name.

I’m not sure if I’m receiving my HugTexts. How often are they sent?

HugTexts are sent on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Studies show that if texts are received every day, the user gets bored and starts ignoring them. But, four days a week, with breaks between days still feels “new.” We want you to love your messages, so we are sending you just the right amount, at the right time!

You should receive a HugText message sometime during the day, which varies depending on your time zone. If you do not receive your HugText message at all during one of the days listed above, please make sure your carrier and SMS number are listed correctly in your account. If they are, please contact us so we can help you further.

I forgot my HugTexts User Name/ Password

Go to My Account, which should bring up the Login Screen, and click “Forgot User Name/ Password” and follow the prompts to recover your User Name and reset your password. You should receive a helpful email to recover or reset as needed.

I gifted HugTexts to someone, but they contacted you to cancel and are no longer receiving them. Do I get a refund?

The plan you subscribed to includes a number of phone numbers. You can go to My Account, click on My Plan, and add another number in place of this person’s, or you can change your plan. You’ll see your monthly rate change accordingly beginning with the next month.

How do I cancel my plan?

All plans are processed via PayPal, so you can log into your PayPal account, and choose “My preapproved payments.” Then you can select and cancel it. There should be a link with directions in your email receipt from your initial payment to PayPal when you signed up.

Your plan will continue to be active through the amount of time you last paid for – for instance the rest of the month – until the next renewal period, when it will not renew. If you no longer wish to receive HugTexts for that time, just remove your phone number from your account.

Refund policy: You may cancel or change your subscription at any time. However, no refunds will be given. Upon cancellation, you will continue to receive HugTexts on the days they are sent until your subscription runs out, and it will not be renewed. You may change the phone number(s) as desired until that time, or delete all numbers. Your subscription may be cancelled via your Paypal account under My Preapproved Payments.
